Goodbye to you

Last time in our house was on May 21st 2009, I am sad to leave it, i remember dustun and picking it out and i remember when i made my scrapbook craft room into a baby's room, which turned into Abigail's room i remember the good time and the bad times, I will miss this house it was one or our first big ticket items we had become an adult by buying our first house together. As sad as I am about moving and selling the house i am ready for whatever the military throws at us, i am ready for a new change of pace, and ready to make new good and bad memories in a new place, so to the 862 Barrel point house you will be missed thanks for keeping us safe from all the Texas rain and heat. We hope the new owner will love you as much as we did. love the Carlsen's

Riverwalk

When i was in Texas the three of us were able to barrow my freinds van to go down to the river walk (another post on why he had to do that). It was a great day considering it is Texas, dustun and i opted for carrying her rather then push her in the stroller due to how narrow the walk on the river is. We had so much fun we walked around sat and ate our ice cream as we people watch, then we were trying to find some San Antonio memorabilia in case we never came back we could never find anything, i was trying to find a "dream box" that is made out of wood with her name and the river walk carved in it, i bought mine there and i was hoping to find her one. oh well i'll just have to cruse the net when have time, anyways back to my day. We had fun getting out of the house and spending time as the 3 of us, the day i wished could have lasted i miss him so much and cant wait to be in Colorado with him. enjoy some pictures:

1st trip to the zoo

On May 9th 2009, Hogle Zoo had a mommy and and me day, so my mom, sister, Abigail, and i all went. it was so much a perfect weather, it wasn't to hot or cold, which is a good thing cause i carried abby on my belly most of the day. Today she got her first taste of sun, so we bought sunscreen and a hat to protect her fair skin from turning red. I know she was to young to understand what was really going on but i tried to talked to her and tell her what animal we were looking at. here are some pictures form the day:

catch up

Well i haven't really talked about it for fear of cursing it but it is this far along i feel i can openly talk about it. We sold our house!!! ok well let me rephrase that we paid some one to take our house, it totally sucks it drains our saving account but we were more afraid to let this offer go and not get anything and spend more money, so we went for it. So dustun graduated from phase one of ultrasound school (with the highest GPA ever, way to go baby way proud of you) and he has two weeks off until he goes to phase two in Colorado springs, Abby and I flew to Texas to help pack the house up and put it in storage for the next 5 months, it is totally weird thinking of all of our belongings being in a storage unit. We have the priesthood helping on the 19th to load and unload the u-hal and the relief society helping on the 20 to clean, then Abby and I are back on a plan on the 21st to Utah.
Here is a picture of dustun holding Abby for the first time in a few months, i had him feed her so she could look at him and remember him, i think it worked she never was scared she felt at home with him.
