Nursery

Technically Abby turns 18 months on the 30th so her first official day of nursery should be August 1st, but I wanted to know how she would do so today was her first day!
I wasn't worried about her since I have left her in nursery at the baptist church, but today was Dustun first day, he acted just like I did the first time.
He or I would go check in on her only to find her playing with toys or the other kids, she never cried she did so good, I will say I was a little upset she didn't seem to really care that I left her or wasn't with her.
I just walked in set her down and she went for the toys I never called attention to me leaving I just left the room, so next week we will be going back.

Well on May 25th 2010 my Abigail finally did her first steps! She is still very wobbly but she is trying to do it and doing very well. Yesterday she walked around 90% of the time, I would hold on to her tell her to go get me _______ and she would do it on her feet if she fell before she made it to the object she would crawl back to me and try again. I love it, but I am also sad she is growing up.

my baby

My little baby girl is 15 months old, where o where has the time gone? It has been going so fast I just want to stop time to hold her and breath in her sweet scent.
I wanted to write an update on how and what she is doing so far:
she will use ASL fro milk, baby and more.
She put her first ASL sentence together she asked for more milk.
Will follow direction when i ask her to sit on her bum.
Knows how to give hugs, kisses and loves (bumps foreheads with you)
In the bath tub I'll ask her to find her duckies in all her toys once she finds it she will quack.
loves to read books will turn pages and point and talk she loves reading to anyone near or to her self, also can find the duck in her I spy book.
will say mamma, dadda, doggie, bandit and will say thank you, here you go and I love you. only the first words are clear the rest you just have to know and be watching her to understand.
She got put in time out, and when daddy came in she told him all about it, she jabbered so passently and pointed from the toys (where she was being naughty) to the corner (where she had a time out) to the person who put her there. so cute.
she will do imaginary tea party with me, pretend to eat and drink and ask for more, she even makes a refreshing noise after "drinking"
Loves making Samuel laugh, she will be so silly until he is rolling on the floor, then she stops and just smiles the countiues to be a goof.
knows where nose and belly button are on her and others.
Loves music, will "dance every time there is a good beat on.

She is doing so much but she is still very happy crawling, she will push many objects around to walk or hold onto you or other objects but she is to nervous to walk by herself, I'm not worried i know in her time she will be doing laps so for now i will sit back and enjoy everything she has to offer me.

I cant believe how much she has grown she is so beautiful and so full of life and love. She will always be the best present I ever get. Happy Valentines day baby girl.

Growing up.

Every day with Abigail is so special and so sweat I am so happy she is here, she is such a blessing in our life's. She is such a sweat spirit, she is so full of life. I love her so much. Every day when I hear her wake up she lights up when she sees me walk into the room, she gets so excited she literally jumps up and down, the only problem with that is she has 4 teeth on the bottom and two "carlsen" teeth on top so she had bitten her lip and bled pretty bad a few times I feel so bad for her, but I guess she might learn to stop sucking on her bottom lip that way.

She is growing so fast and learning so much I can hardly stand it, when she hears bye-bye she waves, when she hears give me kisses she makes kiss noises and when you say blow me kiss she will that, she has also a few times given the touch down signal. and when you ask her to hand you something she will, and yesterday in church she was sharing her teddy gram with he Abby cadabby doll. so sweet.

I cant believe a year ago, my dad flew hear to Texas to help Dustun bless Abigail in the church, how time has flown, how much she has done and how much she will do in the next year.

I cant how big she is, she loves food, any food all food, she is such a moocher if you sit down to eat she crawls over and smacks her lips for some. We are now no longer on bottles or formula. It is kind of scary because now you have to think about what to feed her to make sure she get all her daily food pyramids recommendations our normal breakfast is, hard boiled egg, a banana, and a whole wheat waffle, and a sippy cup of milk. lunch is a vegetable, a slice of bread with PB, or cheese tortilla, the other half of the egg, and milk, dinner she eats what we eat. The other night she ate, sweat potatoes, salmon, and peas, she loved it all.

Birthday girl breakfast, bananas and cereal!

After meeting the requrements to be forward facing we are excited to be ridding forward, here i was telling how she gets to sit from now on.
She is excited about this new seating arrangements!
For Abigail's birthday we went for at lunch at mamacitias, they sang to her, she got to wear a somberoo, (so did I) and try some sopapilla. We had invited a lot more people but they all had other obligations so our friends the Greens hung out with us.







After lunch we came home for a nap and then to open some gifts. I forgot to take some pictures of the gifts but thanks to all who sent some gifts or money to buy things for her, we really appreciate the thought.





Cake time!!!

Abigails birthday

Well on January 30th 2010 Abigail Ann Carlsen will be one years old. I wish we were close to family to have a big blowout party for her. But since we are in the military we will invite our military family and celebrate at mama citais and then to our house for cake and ice cream and gifts. I am making her a lady bug cake since she is our little bug.
If you have sent any gifts for her I will be posting the pictures of her opening them on here as soon as I can, and of course there will be pictures of her and her smash cake!
I wish all of my family and friends that are not here could be here but I wanted to let you all know so you could be here in spirit, to celebrate Abigail wonderful first year of life.

Bathtime

Last night I gave Abby her food to play with, and she made a mess, I gave her a sink bath. she is 11 months old and this his her first time, I liked it and so did she.





I was watching Samuel and he was a mess also so i gave him one too, he liked it too,a nd it was much easier giving two babies a bath in the sink rather then in the tub.
