Well this last week has be super hard for me, not only have I been waiting a long week to have my beautiful baby to arrive, but I have waited years. So it has been really hard for me, the good thing is that my mom has been here so she has kept my spirits up and made me laugh and we have been busy hanging out.
My lovely freinds have given me advise on how to induce naturally, the have helped me by walking around the mall, the neighborhood, and rub my feet and hands. They have also offered words of encouragement. So thank you all very much.
On Thursday I will be having a non-stress test. and then on Friday at 5:30 a.m they will induce my labor they will start by giving me Pitocin, then we will go from there, I am hoping that my body response well and I will not have to have a c-section.
So my next "baby" post there should be some pictures or our daughter!
Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts that all will go good, quickly and smoothly!

40 week
How your baby's growing:
It's hard to say for sure how big your baby will be, but the average newborn weighs about 7 1/2 pounds (a small pumpkin) and is about 20 inches long. His skull bones are not yet fused, which allows them to overlap a bit if it's a snug fit through the birth canal during labor. This so-called "molding" is the reason your baby's noggin may look a little conehead-ish after birth. Rest assured — it's normal and temporary.
How your life's changing:
After months of anticipation, your due date rolls around, and... you're still pregnant. It's a frustrating, but common, situation in which to find yourself. You may not be as late as you think, especially if you're relying solely on a due date calculated from the day of your last period because sometimes women ovulate later than expected. Even with reliable dating, some women have prolonged pregnancies for no apparent reason.
Well since I know when I got pregnant due to the ICSC then I know the due date to be pretty much correct. so I fall into the prolonged pregnancies for no apparent reason, group.
This Week's Activity:
Kick back and relax. Rent some movies, read a novel, curl up with a stack of magazines or a new CD, sleep in or grab catnaps when you can. You're in the final stretch and you deserve some downtime! If you're go-go-go right up until delivery you'll be depleted by the time your baby arrives, says clinical psychologist Diane Sanford.
I know I am not way over due but I feel like since I have not had one contraction and I have not changed from last week that I will not go into labor naturally.
I will try and enjoy my free time and to be free to do what I want with out needing to make a lot of planning.
Here is my 40 week pictures:

SO who has the bigger belly?!

Baby
Well if you look at my baby ticker it says:
okay okay I'll admit it, I really liked it in my mommy, I am finally ready to go!
I should be here by now!
Well this little girl as inherited the stubbornness of both dustun and I because not only is she not here, she is not even acting like she will be here soon.
I will not even be induced until the sometime in February.
I am scheduled for a non stress on the 29th of January, then we will talk about getting induced, for a later date, and since they don't do inductions on the weekend that already puts me into February.
I had a 40 week appointment yesterday, I am still at a 1 and 75%, she "swept" me again, but I still feel no different.
I have tried lots of different things to get things going naturally but thus far all of them a wast of time, energy and hope. My father in law said that his wife ate fish and chips then she had both dustun and his sister. So since Dustun is off today we all are going downtown to Mad dogs to have the best fish and chips! SO excited for that! mmmmm
well pray for us that we will have a quick, easy, and problem free, labor and delevery.

39 weeks
How your baby's growing:
Your baby's waiting to greet the world! He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of his skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.
How am I feeling? Well I am enjoying my pregnancy very much I keep thinking this may be the only one I ever have so I am enjoying everything it has to offer. She is moving all the time, sometimes I don't feel her move but you can see her and other times I and others can see her move.
I was reading on a forum today, the title was: 39 Weeks and NO contractions!
well I deferentially fit in this group I was always thinking that I would have some contractions where I could start to time them and then they would go away I figure I would have a build up to the real no stop contractions but thus far, nothing is happening, I mean nothing, I said yesterday to a friend I want them to hurt so I know I am having contractions, I know that I will be eating those words once the painful ones come!
My Grandma and I talked today and she said her sister said, "when the apple is ripe it will fall" I know there is nothing I can do to get Abigail here, she will get her when the time is right. Until she is here in our arms, I will enjoying rubbing her butt as she is always sticking it out. I will enjoy being with her all the time, I will enjoy have her to talk to, I will enjoy having her be a part of me in me. I love you my little Abby bug.
Oh my gosh my order just came in! I got her a valentine doll with her name in it, and easter presents, Her first easter doll and her first easter basket! here are the cut pictures of them! I am so excited!

Progress
Today I am 38 1/2 weeks along. At. my appointment today, I was checked I was so afraid that there would be nothing to show, but she said I am 1 cm and 75% effaced. She stripped my membrane and they say that can bring on labor so lets hope I continue to have progress! so exciting!

Poll
Well on my poll I had the 11th of January as an option for when Abby might get here, it is currently 8:00 pm and I have had zero false or true contractions, so unless she is really fast and comes within the next 4 hours, then I will continue to wait to meet her!

My sewing projects
I have been wanting to make my own sling, and a breast feeding cover, so I found some patterns on-line went to the store and bought some fabric, then I started to sew! I love them, they are so cute! My nursing cover is brown with pink poka dots, and my sling is pink with brown paisley print, I have left over fabric so I think I am going to make a laundry bag.
Today dustun and I are going to the stores ( yes stores we are going to, babies R-US, Target, lowes, Michael, HEB, comic book store, Bath and body works, and any store that carry's maternity clothes) And it is 11:00 we are not ready and the missionary are coming over at 6:00 so I think i need to get ready.
Here is Bandit in the sling I figured if it could hold a 13 pound dog, then it would be safe for Abigail! My poor dog has been the test dummy for many baby things, oh well he still loves me and dustun still makes fun of me.

Full Term Baby!
Today I am 37 weeks, which is full term, I cant believe how fast this pregnancy has been, when I did my first blog I had a shrimp size baby 3 inches long and weight about an ounce

and now today Abby is 6 1/3 pounds and 19 inches long.

I have been getting things ready, I have installed the car seat, washed her clothes folded and put them away, I have washed her blankets, car seat cover and anything else she might lay on or wear. I have packed her diaper bag, and my hospital bag is almost packed.
I went to the store yesterday and bought some super cute fabric to make a baby sling and a nursing cover. I was going to make them to day but I have been cleaning out the laundry room and posting things for sell on craigslist. I'll post pictures once they are made.
So I have a question for you all, when I get time I am going to make a poll to put on the side bar but for now my question is:
When will Abigail be born?
January 11th (full moon)
January 21st (due date)
January 26th (new moon)
Other?
Well I would love to type more but I am SO TIRED. I am not sure what dustun and I are doing tonight for new years eve, what are your plans and what are your resolutions?

thoughts on being pregnant
wow, I am a few days from being full term. It feels like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant. These months have flown by so fast. People are always asking me or Dustun so are you ready to get that baby out? I have a hard time answering that because I do want to meet her and hold her and kiss her, but I have really enjoyed my pregnancy, I feel very lucky to be able to be pregnant.
I have very little or no problems, my morning sickness was not fun, but it only last until about my 9th week, I have had very little heartburn, and when I do it is cause I just ate a heavy/spicy food right before bed, I pop a few tums or drink a little glass of milk and I am good to go. I haven't had to many Charley horses, and just lately my sciatic nerve acts up, but after some yoga stretching it goes away with in few hours, my feet have only gotten swollen if I have over worked them, and my back has only hurting if I have done to much, my weight and blood pressure and sugar have all been right where they need to be.
My only problems are I am always hungry, I make me something and I can't finish it, then a few hours later I am starving, Sometimes when I lay down my lungs feel as if they are collapsing so it makes me cough.
I have been able to keep to working, I have been able to sleep pretty good, and I can still work out, I take bandit for walks, granted everything I do I can do it. It my take me all day to do a small project but I can do it.
I have been in the nesting stage and feel as if I have so many things that I NEED to do so I go to bed then a few hours I wake up either due to needing to pee or eat (usually both) then I lay there for a few hours thinking oh I should clean this out, put this here, do this project, finish this scrapbook, make this for dinners, make my birth plan, vacuum the stairs, wash the sheets, do I have everything she needs, How will our lives change, will the house sell, when do we sell the house, where will we all be in 5 months here or there, what if we cant sell the house, is the car seat in correctly, will I know if I am in labor, I really need to sleep, aggggg, finally I pass out from exhaustion only to be woken up by Dustun's alarm and needing to pee and eat again.
I have "to do" list coming out of my ears, and I know that laying there in the middle of the night I cant do them and if I go to bed I can wake up and work on my list, but I just sit there and think about everything under the sun. I think that if I get the few big to do things of my list I can sleep, but then again I may find more tings to add to my list. what a cycle.

Baby shower
On November 15th was my baby shower, I had so much fun. I had all my family there and a few friends, I had when i lived in California and in Texas. We talked, laughed, and ate. It was so much fun, I never thought this day would be here for me.
Well Abigail got very spoiled already, she got so many cute things, outfits, blankets, accessories, and toys, lets just say I wish I could wear some of these things!
I want to thank all of you who came out to show your love and support, I really appreciate it. And thank you again for all the many lovely things you gave.
I wish I could have spent more time with you all, but just like that day, the rest of my vacation was a whirl wind!

Dresses
I have been wanting to make some dresses for our Abby bug, so I went and bought some different patterns and all the fabric, lace, buttons and zippers that I needed. well I have had all that for a few months, I do not understand how to put the pattern together, I get frustrated so I fold it back up and put it away then I pull it out again thinking maybe today I'll know what I should do, nope. Well I have a very lovely lady in my ward that is helping me, she is going to be doing the dresses for me, lets just say I don't think I'll be buying any more patterns.
Well I was going through some remnants of fabric and decided to make up my own pattern I looked on line got a few ideas then I altered them just a bit. I made 3 dresses. they look cute. I am going to keep messing with the pattern to make the dresses a bit different form the other.

ob apt 29+5
Today I had my OB apt. everything is looking good, her heart beat was in the 140's, and my fundal height is measuring at 30 weeks. My blood pressure is good and my weight gain is right on track. So I am very happy, I also got my results back form my glucose test, I passed it so that means I don't have to go in and have the 3 hour test done and that means no medication! I did get a prescription of heartburn medicine, there are some nights it is bad, but it is manageable, but I figure I would rather have the medication and not need it then not have and need it.
Today we were able to view the birthing suites, they are actually pretty nice, we also watch a birthing video, it was acutely an animated one, so nothing to gross, but the lady next to me looked ad if she was going to pass out, her eyes were huge, I patted her on the shoulder and said, "are you ready for that?" she looked at me and just shook her head no, I laughed and said well your about 7 months to late, so get ready.
I feel Abigail moving all the time. We have had 3 ultrasounds they have been trying to get a picture of her face, but she has her face into my back, I have tried sugar, caffeine, and food, they have had me basically upside down and on my side but she stays laying with her bum up, she is already stubborn, the ultrasound tech said she must like the sound of my Vena Cava. I am getting so excited to see her.
After my apt I went and got dustun from work and we had lunch and the chow hall, it was really good.
So far today has been a pretty good day!

Dear Abigail
Dear Abigail,
Today you turn 24 weeks, which means that you are now viable in this big scary world, although as much as daddy and I would love to hold you and kiss you and see you, can you please wait for like 13 more weeks before you think about coming out. We are so thankful for me to be pregnant with you, I have been worrying about losing you, but now that I know you can live outside, I feel as if I can enjoy this pregnancy more and more.
Well I would like to thank you, well actually daddy would like to thank you for all the extra hormones you have given me, they have really hit about 2 weeks ago, how did I notice? Well I called up a Chinese food restaurant and because my order was only $6.00 and not the minimum $12.00 , I called up dustun and was crying over not being able to get any food, so he did a pick up order rather then delivery so I could eat some food. I also got mad at him over him drinking his water at the dinner table (don't ask I just was wanting to fight I guess) I also cried while watching biggest loser, I have been crying or mad at everything. so thanks, but I would go through this and so would your daddy just to have you.
You move so much lately I love it, and every time your daddy puts his head on my belly to talked to you, you kick so much you defiantly love hearing his voice, and if you come out singing Christmas songs that cause daddy will hum different tunes to you, I think we need to get him a book of nursery songs so he can sings those to you all year long!
We love you and are excited to meet you, but like I said don't think about coming out until at least 13 more weeks.
We love you very much, stay strong and healthy.
Love always,
Your mommy

23 weeks today!
Your pregnancy: 23 weeks
How your baby's growing:
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

Too this:

Oh my she going to be how big?:

Dear Abigail
Dear Abigail,
This is your mommy I wanted to write you a letter today and let you know what is going on around you, with me and your daddy and how your growing so big. Today you are 23 weeks, I can not believe at how fast this pregnancy has been going, before I know it your going to be in our arms.
I have been feeling you move around for some time, but lately you have became more and more stronger, the first time I really felt you move was I was with my mom your grandma (9-9-08), and we were driving and all of a sudden bam, wow, then again, bam, and again bam, It felt so weird but I loved feeling you move, it makes me know that you are here with me and you are a part of me. Everyday since then I have felt you grow and grow, and on Saturday (9-20-08) I was able to see you move, I was eating grapes and I felt you move, out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw something move so I stared at my belly and sure enough you moved again and I was able to see you, I was so excited I immediately called your daddy and told him, then I called my mom. I love watching you and feeling you move, every time I do, I say I love you Abigail and give you a little rub. Last night your daddy and I were laying in bed and I felt you move around, I grabbed his hand and put it where I just felt you and you gave him a good swift kick, he looked at me with his eyes as big as the moon and said I felt her, I felt my daughter move, then he started to tear up. He was so happy, he has been wanting to hear you or fell you since about 23 weeks ago, so he finally got to feel you move. I know before we know it you will be kicking my more often and more stronger and he’ll be able to feel you a lot.
Your daddy and I are so excited to meet you, we have been decorating your room, and buying some clothes, your dad is so cute when he is looking for something for you to wear, he keeps saying how excited he is to hold you and love you and dress you and see you. The two of us love you very much. Please continue to get stronger and healthier and more and more beautiful, we will see you soon.
With love always,
Your mommy

With love always,
Your mommy

Oh just to let any one know, we have started our registry, so check it out, if you see that there is something is a must, or not so important or any compilations about a cretin product, please let me know, I really don't know what I do or don't need.

17 weeks
Today I am 17 weeks pregnant, I really cant believe that, it has gone by pretty fast.
I don't know if I have felt life yet, I think I may, but it is so little and so non-often it is hard to tell, I'll be excited when I can feel it and know what it is, although I am sure by the end if it kicking, and poking and moving I will be ready for the good old days!
I am so anxious about finding out what it is, I cant believe people will wait till it is born, I am just way to impatient. I have been buying stuff, that is cute and on sale, I figure I am with in the 90 days to return in case I have bought the wrong color for the baby. oh man!
well here are some facts about my little Kumquat (that's what mom calls it!)
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
