look ma, I can share.

Abigail has learned to point at things, and she is learning to share, on thanksgiving I was able to catch a a few moments of her doing that.

pulling up

On November 10, 2009, I caught Abigail in her crib after her nap, she was pulled up into a kneeling position, now a days she is pulled into a standing position. Even with the mattress lowered as far as it goes, it still make me nervous, I know soon enough she will be trying to climb out of her crib.

Thnaksgiving 2009

I cant believe how fast this year has gone, I remember being pregnant last year and eating so much food I thought I would have Abigail then and now this year, here is my little baby eating all the same things as Dustun and I were. She ate everything, turkey, stuffing, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce. While i was making my pumpkin cheese cake, i had left over pumpkin so i gave her some to see if she licked it, she sure did, i think she liked it being a big mess and squishy in her fingers. It makes me so happy/sad to know she is here, healthy and happy.

cookie time

I have always tried to limit sugar and salt, but one day my friend and her son came over, he had some cookies, and he wanted to share with Abigail so I let her have her first big people cookie, she loved it, and did so well eating it, what a big kid

.

Juice box

The first time Abigail had learned to drink from a straw, was on November 9 2009. Ever since then she loves things with a straw, so I bought her some small juice boxes, she loves them, and she looks so cute holding them.

Learning to crawl.

On November 11 2009, I was able to catch Abigail in motion, ever since then I cant keep an eye on her. Here are the first pictures of her crawling.

Going up

Well she has found out how to crawl the stairs, I sat above her encouraging her to come to me, rather then being behind her pushing her. When that didn't work I went back to my trusty phone which helped her to rollover and to crawl!

Playing ball

The other day my friend was over and Abigail, and Dustun were playing ball, she was having so much fun!

Getting into the fridge

Every time she hears or see's me open the fridge she is right there, and apparently she has learned from some people what to drink!

What goofy smile!

Moving and groving

Abigail has been growing so much lately, (hence the poor sleeping and eating habits)
She is crawling like a pro, pulling in to a standing, crawls up stairs! points and claps at everything, loves to go into the fridge, does this goofy smile, she is so cute when she is happy she crinkles her nose cause she has such a big smile. I still have yet to find a food she doesn't enjoy, She loves her little boyfriend, She is such a happy kiddo, I feel very blessed to have her in my life.

So Happy

I am so grateful to have such a wonderful family, My sister has flown down here to visit us, and I could'nt be happier. We have been Christmas shopping and hanging out. I am so excited for Christmas this year, Abigail has gotten so many toys and clothes form her Uncle, Aunt and Grandparents, not to mention what Dustun and I have given her. But not only is she surrounded by gifts, by she is so spoiled with love.
We set up the tree, and we have put a baby gate around it so that way she cant get to the tree or gifts. I am so excited for this year, I know she is too young to understand whats going on, but I am excited to see her face and watch her clapping.

Christmas wish list.

I have gotten a few people asking what I, Dustun and Abigail would like for Christmas, so I figured to answer everyone at once, I would post our wish list on here.

For Dustun and I we really don't want or need anything, well maybe to fly home! Or maybe just some home cooked items, mmm
For Abigail she is the clothing size 12 months it is a bit big on her but she will grow into it, so don't get anything really Christmas print, for I am afraid she will never get a chance to wear it.
I buy her Shakelee baby, shampoo and lotion, and I can never have to much on hand.
Her shoe size is a 2, but she can wear a 3 but they sometimes fall off, I would like some nice white church shoes, and or some go with everything color shoes.
She only has one Sunday dress in a 12 month size, and 2 PJ's in 12 moth so she can always uses more.
Socks are always good for the sock monster LOVES her socks. And tights, they also dis-aper.
Any cute size 12 month clothing would be great. We do have cooler days, so long sleeve is fine, but please no snowsuits!
As far as toys, anything that would encourage her to crawl or walk or stand, would be great.
We own a bunch of baby Einstein videos, so I don't need anymore of them, but she loves sesame street.
She loves books, board books, pop up books, fabric book, any kind of books.
Of course these are just suggestions, Abigail loves anything given to her! And so do Dustun and I
oh cant for get bandit, he loves, milk bones and anything that squeaks.

I hope this gives you some ideas. Love to all.

Fashion show for Abigail

Her first tutu, I made it the other day, she looks like a fairy, fluffy, princess. She didnt mind it on, but she kept reaching down and grabbing the tulle to eat it, mmmm.

This was my dress when I was little, mom had saved it. And when Abigail arrived it was hers, she is sure cute in it, I need to get a copy to my mom so she can put it side by side with me in the dress.

This is one of Abigails Sunday dress. Her Great Grandma Joyce bought it for her long before Abigail was even a Kumquat (lol) It is so pink and fluffy, hard to believe but it the first one!

Our house.

Finally pictures of the house! It is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with a a loft, it is about 400 sq feet bigger then our last house, we have changed wards, and are closer to base, so far it is a good house. But I am astilling keeping my fingers crossed for Colorado to become open.

Dustun in his loft/office

our back patio, needs some seating, i am always sitting on the stairs talking on my phone.
our view, I love that we don't look in to our back neighbors windows, although the strays dogs, pigs and bugs, kinda suck.
kitchen I wish it had more counter and cupboards, but it works.
