29 gifts, in 29 days

1 of 29
Well tonight I was blog surfing and came across a woman's blog where she is trying to get at least 2000 people to try and give 29 gifts in 29 days, to make this world a better place. So I decided I would challenge myself and you others to do the same thing. The website is www.29gifts.org check it out and sign up.
So today as my first gift on day one is to help better this world by challenging all my readers to sign up and help make this challenge possible.

I will post everyday what I have done and if I have received anything in return!

Dreams

SO I have read and heard a lot of people saying they have cravings for different kinds of food. I really have not had any cravings for anything in particular, just food sounds good. Although almost every night I go to bed and dream about food, I dream about everything, but I have never woke up and said wow I want to eat (fill in the blank with whatever) but for the last 3/4 nights I have been dreaming about my mother in laws GIANT GOOEY YUMMY Cinnamon rolls, and since I put my fall decorations up, I have dreamed about her pumpkin cookies, the dreams so real I can literally smell them cooking, I can feel how soft they are and oh my gosh they taste so good, as long as I don't wake up with a half eaten pillow I think I'll be good. MMMMM

23 weeks today!

Your pregnancy: 23 weeks
How your baby's growing:
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

Oh my she going to be how big?:

Dear Abigail

Dear Abigail,
This is your mommy I wanted to write you a letter today and let you know what is going on around you, with me and your daddy and how your growing so big. Today you are 23 weeks, I can not believe at how fast this pregnancy has been going, before I know it your going to be in our arms.

I have been feeling you move around for some time, but lately you have became more and more stronger, the first time I really felt you move was I was with my mom your grandma (9-9-08), and we were driving and all of a sudden bam, wow, then again, bam, and again bam, It felt so weird but I loved feeling you move, it makes me know that you are here with me and you are a part of me. Everyday since then I have felt you grow and grow, and on Saturday (9-20-08) I was able to see you move, I was eating grapes and I felt you move, out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw something move so I stared at my belly and sure enough you moved again and I was able to see you, I was so excited I immediately called your daddy and told him, then I called my mom. I love watching you and feeling you move, every time I do, I say I love you Abigail and give you a little rub. Last night your daddy and I were laying in bed and I felt you move around, I grabbed his hand and put it where I just felt you and you gave him a good swift kick, he looked at me with his eyes as big as the moon and said I felt her, I felt my daughter move, then he started to tear up. He was so happy, he has been wanting to hear you or fell you since about 23 weeks ago, so he finally got to feel you move. I know before we know it you will be kicking my more often and more stronger and he’ll be able to feel you a lot.

Your daddy and I are so excited to meet you, we have been decorating your room, and buying some clothes, your dad is so cute when he is looking for something for you to wear, he keeps saying how excited he is to hold you and love you and dress you and see you. The two of us love you very much. Please continue to get stronger and healthier and more and more beautiful, we will see you soon.
With love always,
Your mommy

Breathtaking views

Sibling love

9-14-08
We all went to church today, I was able to hear Travis bless the sacrament, I cant believe at how old he has gotten, when he sits up there, I know he is going to be the best missionary, husband, dad, and friend, I am so proud of him.
Amanda looked so beautiful, in that color, it was perfect with her hair color, and for the season. I am so proud of her for working as hard as she does and she going to school.
I love my brother and sister very much, I miss not being able to hang out with them.

9-17-08
This week at school was homecoming week so everyday they did different things, and today was cowboy day, he looked so much like daddy.

Grandparents, and family!

Abigail and Grandma have a bond with each other all ready, every time grandma would rub my belly or talk about about her I could feel her move, even now as I am thinking about grandma and writing miss Abigail is kicking up a storm, I hope that they will be able to meet each other, If for some reason they do not, they will be watching out for each other.

I am so blessed to have all of my grandparents still here with us, I know that our time together is limited so I cherish all the moments I have with them

I was also able to get together with my other grandparents and my aunt and mom, from Dustun side, I was so thrilled I was able to get together with them, it is so hard trying to find time with everyone's schedule, and I hate feeling as if I am making them hang out with me, cause they "have too" They all looked so good!

Canning

9-15&16-08
Mom and I had our first experience at canning, we made salsa, which took all day, you have cut and wash and De-seed all the peppers, tomatoes, onions. We used as much produce from mom garden as we could. We were choking on all the spicy smells from the peppers. After 7 hours of standing, chopping, blanching, processing, we got 31 jars of home made salsa, which is so delicious. It kinda makes the day worth it when you get to see your finished project, and especially when you get to taste it, mmmm!

On the next day, we made some jams, we made, peach, strawberry and peach pineapple.

Family Home Evening

9-15-08
On Monday we had family home evening, we all went to the bowling ally, we bowled, laughed, danced and ate cheese fries (the best ever, mmmmm) and had so much fun. My score was super good, are you ready, yep 99 the top score is 300, so I am almost there, oh did I mention we played with the bumbers, can you imagine my score with out them? so much for practicing on the Wii!

It's going to be another strike.

Don't mess with the big dog, I mean he use to be on a bowling team, grrr.

Oh by the way I "popped" while I was home!

The Family: "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all"

Joseph Smith memorial.....

9-9-08
Or not, mom and I had a plan to go to Salt lake, to walk around Temple Square, go to the Joseph Smith memorial, go see the movie, well as we are are driving we see the exit for Wendover, mom looks at me, "do you want to go?" "YES" "really?!" "Ya lets go!"
So we take the exit for Wendover, put the top down on the car, hand in hand we yell "yippy" that moment will be forever known as our Thelma and Louise moment.

We went to mongego bay, I played in Penny heaven all day, I put in 20.00 dollars and played on it for the whole day, I love it. You can always tell the "hard core" players cause they sit and the quarter machines and are play 3 machines and once, no thank you. They also have a high dollar spot, where the machine are minimum of 5, 10 or 20 dollars to play once, I think I will continue to live in penny heaven, I mean I am not going there thinking I am going to will a lot of money, I just go to have fun. Which today was, it was so spontaneous and FUN! Thanks mom, love you.

Peach days.

9-6-08

In Brigham we have a little tradition called Peach days it has been going on since 1904, it draws in over 75,000 people over the weekend, this year car show had more cars since the history of cars shows, we had over 900 different cars, all of them amazing and unique in there own way.

There are so many different types of food, you have hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, every kind of peach item you can think of, they even had a booth that had fried Peanut butter sandwiches and fried snickers bar on a stick, even fried oreos. I ate so much it was so good!

Mom and I went to the parade, it was fun. Travis was in the parade again this year for Student counsel.

they had some cool looking floats, I liked this one cause it was patriotic.

The family went around to the booths and checked out the different crafts that they sell, dad bought Abigail some head bands and a Tag blanket (I mean I picked it out and said, "daddy will you please buy these for you first granddaughter?")
I am so happy I was able to come to Peach days this year, next year I hope to take my whole little family there.
